At D/C Oceanfront Accommodations, we are committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and secure online experience possible. This document applies to all D/C Oceanfront Accommodation Web sites.

Information
In general, you can visit us on the Web without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. There are times, however, when we may need information from you.
You may choose to give us personal information such as your name, address and email.In some cases, your credit card number may be required to reserve a home or pay a balance for a home already reserved. It is our intent to let you know how we will use such information before we collect it from you on the Internet.

Credit Cards
Your credit card number and expiration dates will only be used by D/C Oceanfront Accommodations for purposes of reserving a home, paying a balance, or as a security deposit on the home(s) reserved. No information will be shared with any other group or organization, including credit card information, names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
Credit card information used for security deposits(not to be confused with "reservation deposit")will not be charged unless significant damage was caused by occupancy. See "Rental Agreement" for details.

Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, the information is protected both online and offline. When our on-line form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is protected with encryption. If, by chance, you need to correct encrypted information, it will be necessary to clear the form, and begin again, as the encryption dialogue won't work the second time.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information offline. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable credit card information.
